The Twitabrew story...

For those of you that are curious, the idea of Twitabrew was born at a beer festival. Les and a friend were talking about all the great beers that they were trying...but the problem was remembering them all. It wasn't their first beer fest. They knew that in a few short hours, remembering their names would pose a challenge. They knew there was no way they'd remember the great microbrews they tried along the way.

But what if...what if we all just tweeted great beers? What if we had a site that captured those tweets and organized them for us? Wouldn't it be cool if everyone tweeted great beers and we could see which ones were the best?

The idea sat on the shelf for a while...but then along came the Rails Rumble. We had a couple of ideas for the contest, but at the last minute Twitabrew came from behind and won.

We have so many great ideas for this service, and so little time to create them. My real hope for this site is to help people explore and share all the wonderful beers that are out there.
